ALFA ROMEO GIULIA
MOE was awarded the project on a Friday. We shot the following Thursday. Giulia was in Las Vegas and Alfa wanted a launch film quick - there was only one vehicle shoot-ready and under embargo. We scrambled the team and found an Italian Vineyard in Sacramento and a mountain pass in Lake Tahoe - 4 hours out of Vegas. We also understood that the technology of the vehicle needed to be highlighted. We put the VFX team on plane and we shot HDRI's during the filming and used a mule vehicle of matching dimensions. Joe Cicio, Ergin Kuke and I location scouted and mapped the 2-day shoot in 16 hours. Super fun road trip. How Tina our producer landed the crew in such a short time is beyond me.
